Arles and Vincent...or I can't hear in my left ear!

We spent the day touring Arles.  We took the Vincent Van Gogh walk outlined by Rick Steves and it was pretty cool.  We had pastis at the Nuit Cafe, the one made famous in Starry Nights...thanks Eric for telling Dan to get us buzzed at 1 in the afternoon!  We also toured the amphitheater....amazing to sit in a place built 2,000 years ago!  I just wondered why they didn't use Roman numerals to number the seats.  We are going to the Camargue (sp??) tomorrow.  This is a wild area with bulls, white horses and pink flamingoes.  We go on a three hour tour.....but remember what happened when Gilligan went on his.  Hopefully there will be a Ginger on board.
On Saturday we went to the town market....really neat.  We bought a chicken and brocoli for supper, apples, other fruit and sausages.  Sunday we went to a flea market and were amazed by the same stuff being sold there as back in the states.
We met some Americans in Arles today and got updated on the news about Bin Laden.....everyone seems very happy he has been caught and dealt with.
Anyway, no pictures today because no internet at the house.  It takes a while to download from a camera to the computer and the Polybureau is only open until 6:30.
So, as they say here...a bientot!
